Welcome!

We all need support in our lives. Choosing to engage in therapy is an important decision, and you need to find the right therapist for it to be effective. Self-compassion, healing and change becomes easier when you feel accepted, supported, and empowered to grow. As you engage in therapy and practice your coping skills in between sessions, you can expect to become more aware of patterns that get in the way of showing up the way you want to. Likely, you will feel more calm, balanced and accepting of yourself and others. You can look forward to learning how to clarify your goals, boundaries, and feel more like your authentic self. Feel free to Contact Laurien for a free 15-minute consultation.

About Laurien

Laurien Golder-Manning (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker and somatic psychotherapist in private practice with over fifteen years of clinical experience in body-centered therapy. She offers in-person sessions at her office within the lovely community at Mandala Integrative Clinic in Boulder, CO, and also video sessions via Zoom. Laurien is a lifelong learner with a passionate interest in the healing of trauma and the integration of mind, body, and spirit in the healing journey.

Laurien spent the early part of her career working as a massage therapist and Yoga teacher, and later transitioned into working with individuals struggling with the impact of trauma, overwhelm, and addiction during and after graduate school. This work inspired Laurien to seek a deeper understanding of both the impact and the resolution of trauma and overwhelm, which led her to her ongoing education and practice in Somatic Experiencing® for healing trauma.

Laurien guides and supports clients in how to improve communication in relationships, self-worth and self-compassion, and recovery from burnout and codependency. Laurien specializes in anxiety stewardship, grief and loss integration, and the re-negotiation of trauma. She enjoys working with individuals and couples from all backgrounds. When not working with clients, Laurien re-charges her batteries by the water, painting with watercolors, gardening, practicing Yoga, running, and spending time with her family and friends.

Laurien loves to converse with people about coping skills and creative ways to Explore calm practice.

My Approach: relational, down to earth, nonjudgmental, calming, warm, supportive.
